Brow and Forehead Lift

Ageing means collagen producing cells diminish, the skin loses its elasticity gravity and the natural ageing process causes underlying muscles to stretch causing the brow to sag and wrinkle, eyebrows to droop and give a sad and tired appearance to the face. A brow lift addresses all of this by raising the brows and lifting the eyelids giving them a more youthful and refreshed appearance. There are 2 types of eyebrow lift procedures, open and endoscopic and the technique chosen will depend on your facial structure, skin condition and the hairline where the incisions are made. Through incision muscles are cut to reduce frown lines and the scalp is lifted to a new site. Stitches are usually removed 7-10 days after the surgery and normal activities can be resumed at this time.
